Samantha Moyo (a.k.a Rev Sam) is a community expert, artist and acclaimed celebrant who has spent 15 years turning communities into movements and strangers into belonging.
She founded Morning Gloryville, a global wellbeing movement that grew to 200,000 members across 23 cities and earned 3,000+ press features incl BBC, CNN, Vogue, Wall Street Journal and more. The blueprint on which the wellness industry was formed was pioneered by this work. In addition, Sam has facilitated innovation & culture change at Nike, Samsung, Heineken and Publicis Sapient, hosted Dr Jane Goodall in front of 4,500 people for Greenpeace and got 250 Heineken Group CEOs dancing. Most recently, Sam was appointed Non-exec Director of the UK's leading Independent Festival, Shambala.
She is the creator of Chapel of Love, a large-scale communal ceremony that has reached 10,000+ people across much loved festivals like Glastonbury, Wilderness Festival and Shambala. Chapel of Love is currently evolving into a research programme exploring ceremony, meaning-making and belonging.
Underpinning all this is Sam’s passion for people and planet. She has lived with African indigenous communities; immersed herself with faith communities from around the world and spent her life engaging in and advocating for the natural world.

Ritual + Ceremony

When Sam isn’t speaking, coaching or paddling with fellow board members, she is a celebrant. If you’d like her to facilitate a baby blessing, wedding or celebration of life (funeral), contact us to book a consultation.

Sam is also an ordained multi-faith minister with the One Spirit Foundation.
