Namibia - Opowu

I was meant to be going to Burning Man, Nevada Desert to co-host an event with our SF partners & Carl Cox. But a strong message came through in a meditation saying, “cancel Burning Man. go and spend time with indigenous africans.”….. So that’s what I did.
With support from O2 & OnePlus, I was able to venture solo to Namibia, find friends in a township to travel with me and travel to Opuwo - the home of the Himba and Herero people.
Those weeks living in rural Namibia changed my life.
And further informed the lens from which I create. These lessons are often passed on in person and talks I give.
We hosted a live event called “Tamuka - My Journey To Africa” with a few hundred people. There I shared details from the trip, including content and videos - culminating with a live phone call with the a few of the people I’d met. Connecting voices across continents gave us a wider lens on the ecological crisis we face.
