Pirate Radio

Was an Immersive POP-UP boat party saluting the old days of Pirate Radio! What started with a research trip to Radio Caroline’s Ross Revenge turned into one of London’s most loved underground parties. Run by “Captain Hello Titties” whose real identity was never truly known.
This was both a party and live art exihibiting the old days when music gigs were hosted with no line-up announncements; bands were selected on a first come first serve basis and sound checks were banned which gave a raw joourney into connection between artists and audience.
There were 3 decks on the boat:
Outside Deck - Live theatrical performances from actors and feral creatures
Deck 1 - Live DJs of different genres instructed to weave ads from the 60s into their sets
Deck 2 - Live Bands from all over the world like James Riley, My Bad Sister to the Turbans
We seek connections with all musicians, producers, DJ's, dancers, fans, lyricists and party people. LOVE
The London Metro Newspaper dubbed these events the 2nd Best after Rhianna’s concert in December 2012. Making our humble experiment a triumph.
We had to stop due to our after parties getting wilder and the rise of my next concept Morning Gloryville.
